Sunny San Diego

A few weeks ago, we got to spend a great weekend in San Diego with Aaron's twin, Adam, and his wife, Karina. We had such a blast! The weather was so, so nice. The night we left Seattle, it was puring down rain. The weather was a nice little break from our rain and clouds. Adam took Aaron to his work office and got to show him around his nerd turf. I think that when Adam comes to visit Seattle, he will need to go to Aaron's nerd truf too. Karina asked me if it was okay if we go to the mall and go shopping? Those of you who know me, know that i had no objections to that.
We also got to celebrate with Karina on her birthday. We went to the San Diego Zoo, and later that night we went out to dinner with some of her friends and family. It was a fun time for us to all bond together. Karina and I both noticed that we had alot more in common than we thought! It sometimes feels like we are twins too, eventhough we don't look alike, we always have things to talk about. And i can also get advice on aaorn, she always says... " oh, Adam always does that". I get a lot of good advice, since we pretty much have the same husbands.
I want to thank them for the great time we had over there and i hope that you guys can visit here soon!!

Pumpkin Patch

This last weekend Aaron and I were invited to a pumpkin patch in Fall City.. way out in the country. We had so much fun picking out our pumpkins! We were only going to get two, but i couldn't help myself, so we got four. That night we carved the pumpkins. Now, we didn't just carve some faces on these pumpkins, we created masterpeices. i carved oiut a ghost on one pumpkin and a bat on the other. Aaron did the headless horseman scene. I love to carve pumpkins, I don't even mind taking out all the guts and seeds. I will try and get some pictures up of our pumpkins soon!

Saturday in Seattle

This afternoon, it was such a beautiful day that Aaron and I could n0t pass up the amazing weather, so we went to the Seattle Pike Place Market. We parked far away, so we had some walking to do, which was no big deal cause of the sun. If it had been raining, it would not have been a pretty picture. We really live so close that we really don't take advantage of our location. There are so many great things to see and do. We saw and smelled the beautiful floral arrangements and the neat little knick knacks that people make. We spent time talking while we were overlooking the water. Just another perfect day in the amazing city of Seattle!

It really has been so long that I haven't even blogged about our fantastic honeymoon nor have I posted any pictures. We had such a fun time. We stayed in a beautiful resort and had an amazing view. We realxed big time, which was just what we both needed. I loved laying out by the pool and hanging out by the beach, which was literally across the street from our hotel.
We were able to go to the Polynesian Culture Center and spend all day there. We went to a luau and had great food and got tickets to watch the awesome night show. We also went parasailing. That was a lot of fun! Aaron was a little bit scared, cause i could feel his legs clenching mine very tightly.
We had such a great time and I can't imagine spending my time with anyone else but Aaron!

We Are Family

This past weekend, Aaron and I went to his family reunion in Utah. We had so much fun! We met up with his sister Julie, and Adam and Karina(Aaron's twin plus wife). We spent the night at a family friend's house and left the next day for a weekend of camping.
We drove for two or three hours to Joe's resivoir in the canyons. It was really beautiful and really hot! We met up with the rest of the family and started mingling and I went about meeting everyone. It was a little overwhelming, but good. Aaron really helped me out with everyone and made me feel comfortable. I made sure he was always nearby. We ate hamburgers and hotdogs and went about playing games, which is what we mostly did. Morning, noon, and night.
It was time for bed and the thought of sleeping in a hot, muggy tent was not appealing, but we did it anyway. It wasn't too bad, the mornings were cool and not at all hot. We went boating and 4-wheeling. Aaron and Adam displayed their mad wakeboarding skills on Saturday when we were out on the boat. They were both really amazing and they had lots of fun! I also had lots of fun just sitting in the boat observing the fun. I have not quite mastered the skills of wakeboarding nor have I tried. I'll get to it.....someday.
We also had lots of time to spare and hang out in the airport with Adam and Karina on Sunday while we waited for our flights. All in all, it was a fun trip, but nothing feels better than taking a nice, hot needed shower after a long and dirty weekend.
